Even at the end of a very long very hot summer (or maybe because we’re at the end of a very long very hot summer), the head of steam for skiing is building. I’m psyched for the upcoming 2023 season, with a wide variety of activities and venues.

It’s all good stuff, and here are my stand out weeks for each of the 4 main months:

January: a week of day touring in the Valle d’Aosta with the Eagle Ski Club.
Great snow, fab coffee, even better food and wine.
Bellissimo.
February: Ski safari from Verbier to Zermatt with the Ski Club of Great Britain.
A journey between two world class resorts, with amazing terrain.
March: I’ve done just one day tour in the Beaufortain, and this year I have the opportunity to explore the area more deeply. The principles of this week of hut to hut touring for senior skiers in the Beaufortain for the Eagle Ski Club will be shorter days and consecutive nights in comfortable huts for the more mature ski tourer.

April: As many people will know, I’m a massive fan of Scandinavian skiing in general, Norway in particular and especially Senja. My previous trips to this wild island have been in March, so I’m looking to longer days with more stable snow and weather.
Have a look at any or all of these options, and
drop me a line for more information.
Have a great season everyone!
