Winter 2024 program on line

As I write this, we’re coming to the end of summer here in Chamonix. Temperatures are dropping and  our thoughts turn to the snowy season.

You can access my full program by clicking here.

It’s all good stuff, and here are my stand out weeks for each of the 4 main months:

January: a week of day touring in the Valle d’Aosta with the Eagle Ski Club. Great snow, fab coffee, even better food and wine. Bellissimo.

February: A hut to hut tour in the Val Clarée, a quiet back water valley in the Hautes-Alpes.
This is an ideal week for people getting into their first hut to hut experience, or the more mature ski tourer!

March: The Silvretta is classic ski touring terrain. I’ve been running these trips with my colleague Kath Murphy  for many years. They book up fast and there are reasons for that…

Location: Norway
Skier: Tim Winther

April: As many people will know, I’m a massive fan of Scandinavian skiing in general, Norway in particular and especially Senja. This island offers great options for coastal Arctic ski touring amid wild mountains! Accessible with a 2-3 hour drive from Tromso, the landscape could have been made for ski touring with ascents up to just under 1000m.

Have a look at any or all of these options, and drop me a line for more information.

Have a great season everyone!
